PPR Pipes from an Air Compressor
PPR pipes can be used in compressed-air distribution systems, but they must be specifically rated and approved for compressed air by the manufacturer.
Typical arrangement:
Compressor → Air receiver → Dryer/filter → Main PPR air header → Branch lines → Pneumatic equipment
Advantages:
Corrosion and rust resistant
Lightweight and easy to install
Heat-fusion joints provide leak-resistant connections
Smooth internal surface reduces pressure losses
Suitable for many factory pneumatic applications when properly rated
Important: Do not connect ordinary water-grade PPR directly to a compressor. Check the pipe's pressure/temperature rating and compressed-air approval, and use suitable fittings, valves, and safety devices.
