PPR Pipes for LG Compressor Systems
PPR pipes can be used around LG compressor installations, particularly for supporting utility systems, but the correct piping material depends on the medium and operating conditions.
Common applications:
Cooling-water lines for compressor cooling systems
Compressed-air lines — only where the PPR system is specifically rated and approved for compressed air
Condensate/drain lines
Process or utility water distribution
Chilled-water connections in suitable HVAC installations
Important: For the compressor's high-pressure discharge air line, hot oil line, or refrigerant circuit, standard PPR should not be used unless the pipe manufacturer's specifications explicitly approve that service. Temperature, pressure, and chemical compatibility must be checked.
For an LG compressor, the PPR selection should be based on pipe PN/SDR rating, operating pressure, temperature, and the actual medium.
