PPR Pipes installation for industries

PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer) pipes are widely used in industries for water supply, compressed air, chemical transfer, cooling systems, and utility piping due to their corrosion resistance and long service life.
Installation Procedure
1. Planning and Layout
Review piping drawings and process requirements.
Determine pipe sizes, pressure ratings, and routing.
Allow for thermal expansion and contraction.
2. Pipe Cutting
Use a dedicated PPR pipe cutter.
Ensure cuts are square and clean.
Remove burrs from pipe ends.
3. Heat Fusion Welding
Clean pipe and fitting surfaces.
Heat both pipe and fitting using a PPR fusion welding machine at approximately 260°C.
Insert the pipe into the fitting without twisting.
Hold in position until the joint cools and solidifies.
4. Pipe Supports and Clamps
Install supports at recommended intervals.
Use sliding supports for thermal movement.
Provide fixed points where required to control expansion.
